Arrival

  • Were accountable/regulated items stowed and secured properly (baggage, tags, ticket stock)

  • Did the CSR wear hearing protection while on the Jetbridge during aircraft arrival?

  • Was the Jetbridge positioned so that there was 1" gap between the bumper and aircraft?

  • Did the CSR position the Jetbridge so that the aircraft white dot was aligned with the Jetbridge threshold (UA Mainline Only)?

  • Did the CSR stop the Jetbridge approximately 5 feet from the aircraft and check for fuselage damage?

  • Did the CSR adhere to the requirement to not make any major adjustment within 5' of the aircraft?

  • Was auto leveler engaged prior to opening the aircraft door?

  • Did CSR knock two times and receive a thumbs up prior to opening aircraft door?

  • During non-Jetbridge operations, was passenger safety ensured (designated walking areas, prop arc jet blast, no-smoking) upon arrival?

  • Was the Jetbridge door positioned so that the aircraft door can be fully opened and so the auto leveler is approximately 8 inches<br>right of the aircraft door (UAX only)?

  • Prior to moving the Jetbridge, did the CSR remove any snow or ice contamination?

  • Did the CSR remove any tripping hazards (includes stowing the Mobile Bridge Adaptor if not being used) prior to allowing passengers on the Jetbridge?

  • Did the CSR wait for appropriate hand signals from the Ramp prior to moving the Jetbridge?
