Basic Security Standards on Site

  • Guards are in place to provide a visible security deterrent and also control access and egress to the site.

    We are the eyes and ears on our clients sites we are there to protect their assets and to report anything that is suspicious or at risk of theft / damage

    Ensure only authorised personnel enter the site

    All personnel are to book in / out, check ID, (staff list should be with security at access point)

    No equipment to leave site during silent hours

    . On first and last Patrol psychically check all doors,windows , gates, fencing, plant, tool sheds & cabins are secure

    Patrol site at irregular intervals, paying attention to fuel bowsers, tool sheds, fence line, gates, plant and all accommodation units

    Complete Event log books in real time with as much factual information in the report as possible. These event log books are your back up, detailing as much information in your report will assist in the event of any thefts / damage whilst on duty. Has anything been left out, has the site layout changed, has anything happened throughout shift?

    Assist the site manager / foreman as required with any reasonable request

    please make yourself aware of the method statement with full details on how to complete your daily tasks and actions to be taken in the event of an emergency.

    contact the control department immediately if any deviation from stated task

    contact the control department or submit report through WebEx with any observations/ changes to site/ anything that needs to be passed over to client
