Extract air pressure switches / interlock.

  • Does the site currently use multiple air pressure switches or 1 no. Roof mounted pressure switch?

  • Will the air pressure switches remain and be re-used.

  • Are new air pressure switches required?<br>State how many.

  • If new air pressure switches are needed, Askews will supply these and physically mount them, but we CANNOT wire them up to the cooking appliance or commission the air pressure switches.
    This MUST be done by whoever is installing the actual cooking appliance, they are the only people who know the extraction rates required for the appliance.
    We will have also left site before the catering installation takes place, a return visit would be chargeable.

Any other kitchen related items.

  • Any Gas works required?

  • Any refrigeration works required?

Presenter Booth / Beverage Cell

Booth Heating

  • What type of booth heaters are currently installed?

  • Do the existing booth heaters work.

  • Are the booth windows being replaced with the new fully glazed type?

  • How many booth heaters would be needed?

  • Are Askew's only supplying the heaters? for the site electrician to mount and wire.

Beverage Cell

  • The only sites which can cope with this new proposed scheme and type of beverage cell are sites which have had the HVAC plant upgraded.
    I.e. New Nordair Niche AHU equipment and New RHF twin drive with 5.5kW, these site should have sufficient capacity to be adjusted or modified to cope with this equipment.
    Older sites with older equipment WILL NOT be able to cope with the additional loads.
    Refer to CDM guideline document (Report on Beverage Cell Cooling Rev A - 12th July 2016).

  • Where will the drinks equipment be mounted/positioned

  • How will the beverage cell be cooled / ventilated?

  • Does the existing S1 - HVAC equipment have sufficient capacity to serve the newly formed beverage cell?

  • Does the existing E1 kitchen extract system have enough spare capacity to extract warm air from the beverage cell?

  • Comments about any new ADDITIONAL equipment proposed for the new beverage cell?<br>Typically a new dedicated extraction system.<br>Possibly a new supply air system.<br>OR - A wall mounted AC unit if nothing else is possible, not a preferred solution.

  • Any specific information, comments or notes about the beverage cell or special requirements.

S1 - Kitchen Cooling/Heating Ventilation System

S1 HVAC unit detail.

  • Does the existing S1 system appear to be fully operational?<br>Add photo's of existing unit.

  • Any reason that the S1 system should be replaced or repaired?

  • If possible get a screen shot of the Trend room and supply temperature graphs for the last 10 days.

  • Any other details or comments about the existing S1 system?

S2 - Dining Area Ventilation Heating/Cooling System

Air curtain and Other AC systems.

Air curtain info.

  • Air curtains are typically installed where both inner and outer doors are replaced with automated sliding doors OR on town centre sites with single sliding doors (no lobby).

  • Does the RCP show a new air curtain?<br>If unknown offer an air curtain.

  • Is it likely that an air curtain will be required?

  • Is it possible to install a Heat pump air curtain?<br>Recommended system

  • Any specific requirements about the air curtain positioning, rafts sizes, door location, pipe runs, colours etc.

Back of House Areas

Chiller / Freezer works.

  • Are the Chiller and/or Feezer rooms being extended or modified?

  • Do the Chiller and Freezer sensors work at the moment?

  • Will the Chiller or Freezer sensors need to be re-installed? <br>By who?

Toilet Extract system.

  • Does the toilet extraction system work?

  • Is there more than one toilet extract system?

Crew room WC Extract.

  • Does the Crew room have its own extract system?

  • Do we have a CDM drainage scheme for the survey? Prices may change if the CDM drawing is produced after the survey.
