Section A: Access / Egress - including Doorways & Exits

  • Are the doorways and exits free from clutter?

Section H: Manual Handling

  • Are the correct manual handling practices occurring at time of inspection? e.g. 2 person lifts, use of trolleys, bending at knees etc.

  • Do all ladders have rubber feet?

  • Are all ladders clean and in good working order?

Section J: Chairs

  • Do any of the chairs have broken parts that would effect the use? or pose a risk to workers?

  • Are all desk chairs fully adjustable?

Section K: Powertools

  • Are power tools kept in designated areas

  • All plugs are in good condition?

  • Is there any exposed wiring?

Section L: Manual Tools

  • Tools are kept in good condition and replaced as required?

Section M: Emergency Procedures

  • Emergency procedures are posted in effective places?

  • Emergency procedures signs are clearly visible and easily understood?

Section N: Lighting

  • All work areas have adequate lighting?

  • All light fittings are in good conditions?

  • All light switches are in good condition?

  • All lights have appropriate covers?
