  • Clean the windows with Windex

  • Hose, scrub and rinse pool tiles deep end

  • 11AM aquatic change room checks

  • Adjust levels and record ORP if the chlorine is below 2PPM

Lifeguard 3

  • Add signature

  • Do you have a bumbag, oxygen mask and a set of disposable gloves?

  • Do you have a working radio and a whistle?

  • Scrub the shallow end bulkhead

  • Wet the bulkhead with water, scrub with the firm bristle brush ensuring all algae growth is removed form the tiles, grouting

  • Scrub the shallow end scum lines with the magic block

  • Ensure the oily residue is removed from the tiles

  • 3PM change room checks

  • 3.30PM Pool test

  • Adjust levels and record ORP if the chlorine is below 2PPM

  • Have you checked the plant room?

  • Allocate squad lanes

  • Check chemical reagent supplies

  • Full facility spot clean

  • 5PM change room checks

Close Lifeguard

  • Add signature

  • Do you have a bumbag, oxygen mask and a set of disposable gloves?

  • Do you have a working radio and a whistle?

  • 6.30PM pool test

  • Adjust levels and record ORP if the chlorine is below 2PPM

  • Have you checked the plant room?

  • Sweep bench seats

  • Prepare the pool vacuum to go into lane 1 DEEP

  • Ensure there are no tangles, the cord is unraveled and in the water when you do place it in the water. Turn it on and double check that it is running prior to leaving it.

  • Full facility spot clean

  • Notify all pool patrons @ 8.30PM<br>"Good Evening, this is friendly reminder that the facility will be closed at 8.45, please start making your way to the changing rooms."

  • Remove the regulator from the oxygen bottle

  • Place bumbags away and ensure all radios are on charge

  • Ensure ALL keys have been returned to the key cabinet
