Frame

  • Inspect pintle hook for presence and tightness- all bolts in place? Paint intact?

  • Inspect safety chains for presence and proper connection attached with Clevis pin.

  • Check safety hooks attached to chains, tips of latch ground down, cotter pins bent?

  • Inspect trailer breakaway plug, has pull pin and carabiner? Wire tied up?

  • Trailer plug properly mounted to junction box. Any damage?

Axles/Wheels/Tires

  • Check all tires for proper inflation

  • Check all lugs present on tires

  • Check axle hanger, springs and any other mounting hardware for presence and tightness

  • Check axle caps for presence and proper lubrication applied to axles

  • Check rear bumper for presence and proper mounting

  • Picture of axle serials tag(s)

Engines

  • Check engine oil level in both Hydraulic power engine and billygoat.

  • Check valve/pump connections for tightness and leaks

  • Check air cleaner for filter and secure mount

  • Has billygoat been properly mounted to frame? Brackets fully painted?

  • Has side mount engine been properly mounted?

  • Back of side mount engine(Honda) electrical been properly tied up? Dielectric greased?

  • All lines running from side mount engine going through grommeted/loomed hole? Secure?

  • Tarp circuit breaker tied up and out of way of shorts?

  • Battery tied down and correct polarity for both? (Posts away from mounting bar)

  • Picture of both engine placards

  • Hourmeter work on billygoat? Any cosmetic damage to Billygoat system?

Electrical

  • Battery cables tight? Correct polarity? Dielectric greased? Away from potential shorts?

  • Check all marker lights for proper installation and working condition

  • Check all strobes for proper installation and function(if applicable).

  • Check all STT lights for proper installation and operation

  • Check all wires were loomed/taped, loom clamped/affixed tight to frame.

  • Check for potential rub points on wires/lines. Through all holes, against rub points

  • All connections/termination points dielectric greased? Anti corrosive measures?

  • Chassis ground from batteries mounted? Dielectric used?

  • Junction boxes mounted and correctly wired? All wires terminated to correct function? include picture of inside boxes.

  • Rear bed reverse button in back installed and working?

  • Marker lights in fenders been properly tied up to prevent wire drooping?

  • Bed reverse switch on back working? Tight?

  • Regulator mounted firm to frame?

Hydraulic

  • Check hydraulic tank for proper mount and hardware tightness.

  • Check all in/return lines from tank. Tight? Signs of leaking?

  • Document hydraulic fluid level. Above 45-55% after priming system?

  • Any damage to tank? Sight glass have any damage? Paint all good?

  • Hydraulic filter in cap?

  • Check valve body/filter/line runnings under hopper. Tied up, out of way? No rub points? Clean looking?

  • Check all lines for leaks and physical line flow. Floor speed set right?

  • ALL hyd. Lines torque locked?

  • For Bigfoot jacks- properly mounted? Goes up and down? Dielectric used between mount plate? Document condition of cover plate/ condition external.

  • Loom or grommet used on holes Hydraulic lines run through? No potential rub points?

  • Hydraulic motors properly mounted? Through bolts don’t bottom out before fully tightened?

  • Picture of all Hydraulic motor placards

  • Floor speed been adjusted? Match clean out belt?

Hopper/exhaust chute

  • Billy goat properly assembled, all bolts tight on chute system?

  • Has belt chain been properly torqued to right tension? (View ports on side). Include picture.

  • Belt been properly installed? Belt lacing all the way through belt?

  • inside panels all been welded? No missed stitch?

  • Inside plastic runners have been properly bolted?

  • Allen couplers used to attach agitators to motors been tightened? Agitators clear floor and other agitator? Locktite used?

  • Check for locking hardware on HYD. Motors.

  • Tarp- mounted correct to roll bar? Pillow blocks mounted- greased and tightened?

  • With tarp installed, Bungie cord installed on top of tarp?

  • Has rear door(anti reverse) switch installed? Works?

  • Chain been installed on back? Holes drilled to attach chain to side of hopper?

  • Rear bearing access doors been installed? Wires tied up inside? Debris blown out?

  • Fenders been properly mounted/welded square?

Manuals and controls

  • Verify the engine manual and CD/DVD are placed in weathertight box

  • Verify TruckCorp manual is placed in the water tight storage box.

  • Verify any lose controls

  • Zip tie manual box?

  • Fuel line petcock turned to off position for transport?

  • Has unit been load tested? Water tote in hopper?
