  • Is edge protection and toe boards installed at the correct locations and heights?

  • Site Hoarding - are fencing or barriers present on site and installed correctly

  • Are proper control measures in place to protect members of the general public?

  • Are Fire extinguishers available on site, serviced and maintained and of the appropriate Class?

  • Is construction Dust, Noise and Vibration controlled as per risk assessments?

  • Are Lifting and Loading Operations (LOLER) being completed safely?

  • Is all Work Equipment in good condition and suitable for the task?

  • Are all portable appliances PAT Tested within the last 12 months?

  • Is all testing equipment calibrated (flue gas analyzer, electrical multi tester etc)

  • Is Mobile Plant subject to pre-start checks/inspections?

  • Is all PPE & RPE used in accordance with risk assessments?

  • Where dust/fumes/fibers are present, are all operatives Facefit Tested?

  • Are tools, equipment, materials and waste stored suitably and managed in accordance with site specific policy?

  • Are there any environmental concerns for the project?

  • Are young persons, apprentices supervised on the project?
