  • Does the supporting structure adequate to support the scaffold loads and integrity

  • There are gaps on the scaffold that exceed the AS1576 and SCOP 2009 limit of 225mm.

  • Has the scaffold been built with the correct components as per scaffold plan > 4m, inclusive of facade and end bracing, kickboards, containment (mesh or Brickguards) with containment mesh sufficient ties installed to Australian standards. No more than 2m of containment past your last tie.

  • Is there safe access and egress to all scaffolds and working platforms.<br>

  • Have all tie anchors been tested at every handover to 50kn. <br>These tie tests must be documented at time of handover on the tie checklist.

  • Is the scaffold suitable for the load rating required.

  • Are all penetrations handrailed off or covered and secured with AS1576 and SCOP2009 approved materials.

  • Are all lap boards in good order and are secured correctly

  • Are all full height face bracing fitted to end of scaffolds and at least to every third bay or as required per scaffold plan.

  • Are incomplete scaffolds blocked off and appropriate signage applied.

  • The scaffold that has been Erected or Adapted by NJS is fully compliant and meets the requirements of AS1576, AS4576 and SCOP 2009.
