The FM section has notified the occupant (s) that:

  • They are responsible for the replacement non-security light bulbs/tubes and the batteries in the A/C remotes and smoke detectors

  • It is recommended to keep the A/C set point at 21 ° Celsius or higher to prevent the unit from freezing up

  • The FM section schedules a quarterly preventive maintenance visit for the appliances located in the residence

  • Copies of interior door keys are kept in the key box located inside the house, and she should be there when they depart from Post.

  • There is a master keylock safe installed near the main entrance door where occupants can store his set of exterior doors keys. They are also required to communicate the combination before thy depart from Post.

  • Every resident is issued 2 sets of keys that should be returned to GSO before they depart from Post.

  • If you have a breaker trip ad can't figure out how to get it back on or if it trips more than once, please leave it off and submit a MyServices request and we will send someone out the next day.

  • If you have a leak after hours, please shutoff the water to that area. We will send someone out the next day. If you cannot figure out how to turn the water off and it is leaking enough to cause a flood, then please call the FM Duty Phone.

  • The generator mechanics perform regular PMs on the generators, and this is strictly based on how often they run. Generators are used heavily, and we need to perform this maintenance on a schedule. They will make semi-regular trips to the house to work on this equipment.

The GSO Housing section has notified the occupant (s) that:

  • 1. The furniture were set according to GSO procedures. You may move them again to areas that best suit your need. GSO may also provide a one time service to move any bulky furniture.

  • 2. Washer/Dryer cooking range/oven, refrigerator (2), microwave and 3 transformers are provided by the Embassy.

  • The welcome kit will remain the house until the occupants depart from Post.

  • The water tank is filled with city water. Sometimes city water supply can be inconsistent. You are responsible for checking the water level and submitting a MyServices request to GSO to have this filled with the water truck if it runs low. Often your guard will check the water level for you, but it is not required of them.

  • Trash is collected on Thursdays.
