  • The cleaning of surface drainage and P traps is a vital part of our cleaning procedures, identifying drainage issues at this juncture will/can avoid major water leaks once your clean has commenced

  • Insert rubber bungs

  • Vacuum drain outlets one by one ensuring local jelly / obstructions removed

  • Locate & isolate dairy pumps.

  • Vacuum water section of pump tray ensuring the inlet & outlet holes are clear of jelly & slime. Clean gauze filter and prime pump tray with 2 pints of clean water

  • Screw pump back together ensuring earth wire is connected and secure.

  • Reinstate pump & ensure functioning correctly

  • Pay attention to drain entry points from surface to underground drains

  • Remove old gel tablets

  • Photos of drains plugged & being cleaned pre jet washing

  • Lower roof panels & remove honeycombs

  • Clean honeycombs, brush & clean within base of tray (if HCs are brittle or heavily clogged, ensure this are soaked in a bucket for the duration of the clean)

  • Clean both sides of the back panels & area behind, that the panels are fixed to.

  • Clean ice, dust & debris from evaporators

  • Do not jet wash evaporator fan motors

  • Do not jet wash along sealed areas of the end walls and joints within case structures

  • Do not jet wash along mag valves / EEC coils

  • Effectively clean the refrigerated cabinet with sponges & soft brushes

  • Ensure the cabinet is free from excess water

  • Please list details of cabinets where defective cables or wiring have been noted. Please also state if nothing to report

  • Ensure probes are fixed in their correct positions

  • List any identifiable damage to the cabinets paying attention to back plates, HC's, Dividers, wall ends, handles, heaters, risers and kick plates

  • Photos of clean cabinets

  • Ensure all fixture screws are replaced where necessary

  • Reinstate cabinet upon completion

  • Carry out final leak check to all cabinets ensuring no leaks present, if a leak has occurred make sure the cabinet is made safe & isolated. Inform Tesco refrigeration of where the leak is located and inform the store not to replenish stock until a repair has been made
