Performance Rating Standards

  • Please note the points carefully.
    1. Rate each factor separately. Do not allow judgment on one factor to influence on other factors.
    2. Minimum qualifying scores is 60.

  • 1. Job Knowledge, technical & office equipment skills: Resourcefulness used in carrying out responsibilities.

  • 2. Performance in meeting deadlines & commitments: Capability of achieving company's goal. It includes his real output of productivity as he is assigned for.

  • 3. Communication skills: Ability to explain, convince and be understood in oral and written communication with people at all levels.

  • 4. Cost Consciousness, Reliability & Responsibility: Assess his efforts made in controlling cost of major item timely action to check costs wherever necessary to reduce cost. Implies the quality to be trustworthy. This includes employee's ability to be punctual, work overtime willingly, maintain confidentiality of important documents and be available whenever required.

  • 5. Initiative, Creativity & Quality of Work: Willingness to expand responsibilities. It includes motivation willingness to be self-directed work without supervision and working reliability.

  • 6. Stress Management & Steadiness Under Pressure: Ability to withstand pressure in emergency situations. This includes ability to meet deadlines when under pressure and how an employee deals with frustration and conflicts in time of crisis.

  • 7. Co-operation, Team-work & developing others: Performance or working co-operatively with senior or co-workers, It includes demonstrations of willingness to work jointly and respond positively to requests made of peer and superiors.

  • 8. Leadership, problem-solving & decision-making: Quality of maintaining enthusiasm, high morale and team spirit among subordinates.

  • 9. Discipline and Personal image: It should reflect attendance, obediency, self-confidence, and personality.

  • 10. Ethical considerations: Knowledge of legal compliance and implementation and carrying out the same in workplace
