Safety, Quality & Environment Checklist

  • Do you have a copy of the Safe Working Method Statement (SWMS) for this task. This is required forand WILL NEED TO BE HAVE BEEN COMPLETED BEFORE PROCEEDING - Please take a photo of the SWMS SIGNED PAGE WITH ALL STAFF NAMES ON SITE

  • Do you have a copy of the Shoot plan?. Please take photo

  • Have everyone in the crew been made aware of site risks and had the shoot plan explained including no-shoot zones

  • All crew must be inducted into site and have today's task explained. Have you now taken a moment to do this?

  • Do all staff on site who will have access to firearms have a current firearms license. ?

  • Do all staff using supressors have a sliencer permits available ? (online copy sufficient)

  • Are all firearms and ammunition not in use stored in a secure location which cannot be accessed by unauthorised people?

  • Have at least two members of the crew completed first aid level 2 within the last 4 years?

  • Does the crew have access to a first aid kit (including snake bite first aid supplies and Trauma Kit) that has been serviced and re-stocked within the last 6 months within 20m of where they are working at all times?

  • Do all vehicles have a fire extinguisher that has been tested within the last 6 months?

  • Does the crew have access to in field hand washing facilities?

  • Do all crew members have access to gloves for handling carcasses?

  • Is the crew wearing correct PPE? - Cold weather gear, sturdy footwear.

  • Do all crew members have drinking water?

  • Slopes - are there slopes present

  • Is there a danger of a vertical fall over 2m on this site?

  • Fall protection must be used - either prevent access by webbing or other means or use ropes - SWMS must be developed!

  • Is public access management required?

  • Do not proceed without appropriate barriers / locked gates and signage.
