Service Standard

  • Ensure all team members are dressed according to the uniform and grooming standards.

  • The Server will reset the table within 3 minutes as soon as the guests left.

Operating Sequence

  • Welcome Greeting - Part 1: When guests enter, the Server will greet them by saying: “Good morning/afternoon/evening, welcome to (mentioning the name of the Coffee Lounge) (…)".

  • Welcome Greeting - Part 2: Would you like some coffee or tea and some of our homemade pastries?”.

  • The Server will ask the guests if they dining in or taking their coffee and pastries to go, and prepare them accordingly.

  • Dine in orders will be presented on chinaware and to go orders will use paper and plastic.

  • When serving guests inside or outside, a tray must always be used to deliver coffee, tea, pastries, etc.

  • Once the order has been delivered, the Server will ask the guests: ““Is there anything else I can do for you?”

  • In response to every grateful acknowledgement from the guest, the Server will use “My pleasure” or “You are most welcome”.

  • When guests have finished, the Server will thank them by saying: “Thank you and have a wonderful day/evening/night” and invite them back.
