    Please note the entry requirements for this role as a JUNIOR BARISTA.
    Ideally you will be a
    • Undertaking or have completed your hospitality Certificate 3 and/or 4.
    • School leaver with or without Barista experience, looking for a future in the Hospitality Industry and willingness to gain a certificate above.
    You will need to demonstrate the following skills to be successful in gaining employment at Expresso:

    • High level of honesty and integrity.
    • Show willingness to follow systems, processes and procedures.

    • Your attitude and behavior will be critical to the success of your employment at Expresso.

Trial Period

  • Please understand that the purpose of trialling an employee is to determine if they are a good fit for the business, it is uneconomical to give the trial person the training required until they have been offered a position

Exiting an Employee from the Business

  • Remove employees access to Dropbox

  • Remove employee from access to the Till

  • Remove the Employee from I Safety Auditor

  • Remove Employee from Deputy

  • Remove Employees access to Social Media

  • Ensure the Employee has received their last pay before terminating in XERO

  • Ensure Employee has returned work shirts before submitting final pay

  • Remove employee from XERO

  • Request all shirts from Employee to be returned

  • Do not process final pay until shirts have been returned

Exit Interview

  • What was the employees reason for leaving?

  • On a scale of 1- 10 what was the employees performance like?

  • Does this person pose a risk to the business by leaving?

  • Rate from 1- 10 the level of risk- 10 being high risk and 1 being low risk

  • If the risk is above 7 please comment below the reasons why

  • Always attempt to ensure the ex employees exit is amicable

  • Would this Employee be welcome to return to the Business at a later date?
