Raw Material Main Hopper

  • Is the main Hopper clean and free of any excess raw bead

  • RESTART CLEANING PROCEDURE

  • Has the plate been removed, cleaned and put back to its original position at the lower part of hopper

  • Has the gate at the bottom of the hopper been opened and cleaned out

  • RESTART CLEANING PROCEDURE

Top and Bottom feed hopper

  • Has the top hopper been hoovered and cleaned out

  • RESTART CLEANING PROCEDURE

  • Has the bottom hopper been hoovered and cleaned out

  • RESTART CLEANING PROCEDURE

Main Expander

  • Has the main door been opened

  • RESTART CLEANING PROCEDURE

  • Hoovered all beads from the roof, the walls, the main shaft and the steam bed of expander

  • RESTART CLEANING PROCEDURE

  • Removed chute form front door and cleaned with hoover and air

  • RESTART CLEANING PROCEDURE

  • Run both feeds to make sure they are not blocked

  • Ensure both Pass 1 and Pass 2 feeds are clear of any material

  • RESTART CLEANING PROCEDURE

Fluidizing bed and fan

  • All excess bead cleaned and blown down with air

  • RESTART CLEANING PROCEDURE

  • Hoovered any carbon dust from mesh lid

  • Has fan been thoroughly cleaned out and all mesh or guards free of any material

  • Fan for a few minutes to dislodge any material that may be stuck

Ducting

  • Ducting is clear of any material

  • Ducting has been blown into silo / hessian sack for a few minutes after last pass

  • Transfer Gate cleaned out with air and hoover

General tidy around expander and boiler area

  • All material cleaned off expander and boiler

  • All Mess cleaned on floor around expander and bolier

  • All dust and any materials left on top of ducting cleaned down
