Material Handling

  • Have construction material, new or used been stored and organized adequately

  • Have rigging and hoisting equipment been inspected

  • Have all defective rigging & hoisting equipment been removed and/or replaced

  • Do all rigging have legible ID tags/labels attached

Hazard Communication

  • Have CCF SDS sheets been submitted

  • Are SDS sheets available to all employees

  • Are all container labeled

  • Are secondary containers label/marked as required

  • Are compressed gas cylinders secured and capped

Fire Prevention & Protection

  • Are fire extinguishers stationed where required

  • Have the fire extinguishers been inspected for the current month as required

  • Are metal OSHA compliance gas cans being used

  • Are flammables being kept in a well ventilated area

  • Are flammables being kept at least 25ft from ignition sources

Personal Protective equipment

  • Are hard hats being worn, when and where as required

  • Is eye protection being worn as required and when required

  • Are workers wearing gloves when and where require

  • Are workers wearing NOSHI approved respirators.

  • Are face shield being worn when required

  • Have workers performed required body harness inspections

  • Have additional PPE required in order to perform an assigned task

Tools and cords / Electrical

  • Have tools and cords been inspected before use

  • Have defective equipment been tagged and/or replace

  • Are GFCI equipped three ways being used on-site

Fall Protection

  • Is the Site Specific Safety Fall Protection Plans on-site

  • Have employees been trained on the Fall hazards associated with their assigned task

  • Are all fall hazard protected (leading edge, openings, ladder accesses)

  • Is the guardrail system adequate

  • Is a safety monitor needed in order to perform the task safely

  • Have the workers inspected and wearing body harnesses as required

  • Are the workers properly anchored as required

  • Is there a competent person supervising the work

  • Is the horizontal lifeline install per the drawing

Mechanical Equipment

  • Have the forklift been inspected as required

  • Is the forklift being operated in a safe manner

  • Do the operator have his seat belt engaged

  • Have the mobile scaffold and aerial lifts been inspected

  • Have defective and/or inadequate equipment issues been addressed

  • Are the operators wearing the required personal protection equipment

  • Are the gates and chains latched/closed on all mobile lifts

Signaling & Rigging

  • Have all riggers been trained and authorized to perform this task

  • Have rigger inspected all rigging

  • Are exposed workers, alerted before lifting operations begins

  • Are riggers easily recognizable by operators

  • Are hoisting zones protected

Ladders

  • Are access ladders in good condition

  • Are ladders secured and protected

  • Are landings protected and clear of obstructions

  • Are ladders being used properly to perform assigned task

Outriggers

  • Are the specification drawing on-site

  • Is the proper rigging equipment on-site for installation

  • Are all the components needed to assemble the outrigger on-site

  • Is the potential location adequate/suitable for installation

  • Is the outrigger secured and installed with required jacks

  • Is adequate fall protection installed

  • Are proper capacity and load limits signs posted on the outrigger

  • Are CAZ signs posted: CCF Employee Only, Authorized Personnel Only, Fall Protection Required,
