  • Gate employees are on time at the gate, according to the checklist in ViCom

  • The gate agents brought the correct boarding essentials to the gate. (HV: pin, Limited Release, Cabin Guaranteed, Notice of Violation). (Other airlines: gate tas)

  • The gate infrastructure is checked and correct

  • Applicable sizer is placed in front of the gate banklining

  • Priocom is present, charged and switched on

  • The correct flight is selected in the DCS and the correct information is displayed on the flight information screen

  • Gate employees split the gate tasks and communicate well

  • The pre-que is started on time, according to the checklist in ViCom

  • Gate employees make sure all passengers are in the correct queue, by checking the boardingcard on date, destination and (Non-)Priority or zones

  • Applicable handbaggage labels are prepared for the gate (HV only)

  • Gate employee checks whether the handbaggage complies with the rules of the applicable airline

  • PRM and priority are filtered and assisted to the service lane

  • One gate employee starts pre-boarding (on time) the passengers until the pre-board area is full

  • The gate employee knows how to act correctly in case of a boarding alarm

  • Passengers that are not checked during the pre-Q, are checked on their boardingpass, passport and handbaggage before boarding

  • If in case of a boarding error and a check needs to be done on the computer, the boarding lines are closed

  • When boarding on name, sequence number or seat number the employee double checks if the correct passenger is boarded

  • In case of missing pax with baggage, the bagtags are entered in Vicom

  • In case of a missing pax check, the boarding area is closed off for passengers

  • The flight finals are filled out in ViCom before checking the pax on board

  • The flight is closed/finalized in the DCS

  • All systems are shut down and the flight display screens are turned off
