Safe Working Practice for LPG Blow Heater for Pre-warming Paint-spray booth.
Connecting the LPG Cylinder.

Ensure that PPE Leather cloves are worn when connecting or disconnecting the coupling device from the LPG cylinder.

Ensure that PPE goggles or face shield is worn when connecting or disconnecting the coupling device from the LPG cylinder.
Blow Heater Safe Operation.

Only competent and trained employees are authorised to operate the LPG blow heater at any time.

Prior to operation all valves and hoses must be checked for leakage and serviceability.
Paint booth warm up.

Prior to warming up the paint booth the area must be checked for any combustible material, if any material is found it must be removed prior to start up.

Once the paint booth is at the optimum temperature the LPG heater must be powered off and removed to a safe area away from any combustible material.

The heater must be put into a quarantine area so as not to be a hazard to employees, contractors or members of the public.

The LPG heater and equipment must be moved to an area where it will not cause trip hazards.
