  • Is the following information on the labels filled out? Generator name and address. Accumulation start date. Contents. Physical State. Hazardous Properties.

  • Is the information on the labels legible?

  • Is the drum number and the weight of the drum written on the drum label?

  • Have wastes been disposed of within 90 days?

  • Are the containers compatible with their contents? Are incompatible wastes stored seperately?

  • Is there adequate safety equipment and spill cleanup supplies? Absorbents. Chemical gloves. Goggles or faceshield. Apron. Respirator. Was the monthly check of the respirator completed?

  • Is the fire extinguisher available, fully charged, inspected monthly?

  • Is a cell phone or radio available for emergency communications?

  • Is the waste area in good condition? Concrete floors, berms and the surrounding pavement are free of cracks or gaps. Roof and fence in good repair. Hazardous waste signs. Area was locked.
