  • Scaffolding is regularly inspected - every 7 days and after adverse weather events by authorised inspector with suitable scaffolding qualifications?

  • Is scaffold correctly tied or raked

  • Scaffold is set up on a solid foundation?

  • Scaffold is square, straight, and plumb in all directions?

  • Are transoms correctly spaced?

  • Scaffolding is sway braced correctly to node points

  • Handrails - min 950 mm are in place?

  • Toe boards in place?

  • Are scaffold boards secured and in good condition, free from cracks cuts and splits and suitably banded?

  • Are tubes & fittings in good condition?

  • Top of ladders protrudes minimum 1 metre to landing platform?

  • Are ladders correctly installed and at a minimum 1 in 4 ratio ( 75 degree )?

  • Scaffold safe working load (SWL) is not exceeded?

  • Scaffold is protected from mobile plant and vehicles?

  • Are access gates and hatches in good condition?

  • Scaffold pass - yes or no?
