Activity: Door set installation.

  • Check that the structural openings are correct.

  • Check the area is clear of materials and debris and the flooring is protected 50mm short of the walls to allow installation of skirting .

  • Install doors and linings in accordance to the door manufactures installation instructions.

  • Check the required lengths.

  • Cut the mitres for the heads and legs of the architraves in accordance with SEC RAMs & HS polices.

  • Check the fixings are adequate and mitres are flush fitting and are not stepped.

  • Check fixings are below surface.

  • Check free from damage, burrs and abrasions.
