Safety Checks

1) For Contractor Monitoring Checks: Construction Phase Plan - is this document available outlining the H&S Mgt. of the project?
2) For Contractor Monitoring Checks: Statutory Information - availability of Licences, Insurance (PL), F10, HSE Law Poster, Contractor accreditation so etc.
3) Safety Documentation: (RA/MS/SSOW)
4) Training Records: (Valid certificates for the work at hand e.g CSCS, CITB, GAS SAFE etc., Valid asbestos awareness training)
5) Site security & Signage: (Availability of controlled, restricted site access with appropriate signage)
6) Workplace Traffic Management: (Separation of workforce & vehicles - traffic mgt., pedestrian access/walkways, barriers, signage etc.)
7) Work Environment: (Safe access/egress free from hazards and obstructions, Good housekeeping, hazard and safety signage on entrance(s) clearly visible.)
8) Welfare Arrangements: (Access to washrooms and rest facilities, clean, sanitary and tidy.)
9) Fire Safety Arrangements: (Site evacuation arrangements - fire alarms, fire fighting equipment, emergency escape routes, assembly points etc.)
10) First Aid Arrangements: (First aid kits accessible & contents in date, eye wash easily available and in date where provided.)
