Windows, Entrance and General Floor

  • Windows implemented as per VM instruction and clean?

  • Mannequins in outfits as per VM guidelines and priced correctly?

Sales floor

  • Odd Management (Is there designated last of the best seller sections created with the relevant signage in CUM and is the other brands managing odds proactively?

  • Check a sample of 20 items that have been moved to the sale section - Are they priced correctly with reduced pricing, displaying the correct price and only showing the was and now price? Indicate the number of items meeting the above criteria with the slider response and attach pics of every item using the draw function to mark which ones were correct and which ones were not.

  • Check that all current promotions in the store have been actioned as per HO COMMS (stock grouped in one area and signage visible to customers) on the sales floor. (Attach pics of all promotions running and indicate in the notes which ones were picked up as not actioned).

  • Check a sample of 10 items from the stockroom, attach pics of every item checked, and indicate if they are merchandised on the sales floor. Indicate the number of items found from the stockroom on the sales floor with the slider response and attach pics of every item using the draw function to mark which ones were found and which ones were not.

  • Are all items security tagged as per VM policy? (Check 20 items per day)?

  • Are fixtures and furniture aligned? (Running in lines as to make customer movement easy)

  • Are there samples of relevant equipment/perfume/diffusers displayed so customers can interact with products.

  • Displays done as per VM ignite and are all silent salesman and relevant signage in use on the sales floor?

  • All stock is size curved, colour blocked, and rails not over or under-filled (VM ignite guidelines)

  • General flat packing standards with size indicators, no prestic on shelves.

  • Surfaces clean and dust free (Check a sample of 10).

  • All fixtures are full as per the hanger totals/ tagging discipline VM ignite

  • Shoes sizes Mens 8 - 9; Ladies 5 - 6 on the floor

  • Is the layouts in the apparel/equipment/accessories and footwear departments correct?

  • Is pricing done on relevant departments (Shoes, Backpacks, Sleeping bags, etc)?

Stock Room

  • Is the stockroom clean, neat, and tidy and is all apparel neatly flat-packed, size stickered and floor ready?

  • Shoe's size curved and within brand and color (Top to bottom, Left to right)?

  • Kitchen, Microwave, staff lockers clean? Lockers assigned with Locks?

  • Layaways Neat, Clearly Marked and not expired

  • IBTs Cleared Daily?

  • Filing organized and no paperwork is left laying around?

  • Security Cage Locked and Packed as per Hazard Count Check and access register in place and up to date? (CUM)

  • Are all elements (Hangers/ Fixtures/ Marketing etc) stored in separate designated areas?

Snake Queue/POS

  • POS area is clean and uncluttered?

  • Relevant stock displayed on the POS unit (Promoting add-on selling)?

  • Purple UV light on and working?

  • All expired stock get checked daily (CUM)?

  • Snake queue is fully stocked and as per HO Comms layout? (CUM)

  • Back Wall of the POS is fully stock and neat?

Fittingrooms

  • Check fitting rooms - uncluttered, clean, and have nothing hidden behind the mirrors.

  • Check fitting rooms - are the bells working (Cape Specific)?

  • Fitting rooms - are the doors latched? Does a team member count the number of items taken into the fitting room

Team

  • Does every team member have a name badge and are they wearing the correct uniform?

  • Has every team member been assigned to a department?

  • Is all team members knowledgeable on the Company Strategy, Vision Statement, and all current promotions in the store
