Switches

  • A switch can be as simple as indicating the status of a switch / circuit breaker / light or indicator when performing an audit On/Off

  • On or Off (Slide to the left or right)

  • ON

  • OFF

  • Or (when used with a smart field) can turn on powerful audit items. Eg. Imagine you have attended an alarm panel with 3 indicator lights and some gauges. Switch on an indicator light and see the responses to make.

Alarm Panel Status

  • Temperature

  • Note: Normal operating temp is between 2500 and 3000 degrees. Use the slider to select different temperatures and scroll down to see differing actions appropriate to your selection.

  • System Temp

  • WARNING - CEASE ALL OPERATIONS, EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY

  • System is below normal operating temp (Refer operations manual)

  • Operating temp is within normal range, suspect faulty alarm indication.

  • Action taken

  • Temperature within range

  • Gas Detection

  • Note: This indicator could be a different color and either flashing or solid. Select from the list & scroll down to see the varying action options.

  • Indicator Color

  • Trace Gas detected. Order maintenance investigation.

  • Significant benign gas detected. Order maintenance investigation.

  • WARNING. Significant Hazardous gas detected. QUARANTINE AREA IMMEDIATELY

  • WARNING - CEASE ALL OPERATIONS, EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY

  • Action taken

  • Gas within normal range

  • Pressure

  • The key pressure here is 200 KPa. Try entering a higher or lower number and scroll down to see the resulting action.

  • KPa

  • OVERPRESSURE, EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY

  • Pressure within range, suspect faulty indication

  • Action taken

  • Pressure within range
