Fire exits must be checked daily by the early duty manager opening the club and any findings be suitably dealt with and communicated as a priority. Inspect each fire exit route and ensure that there are no obstructions or unauthorised storage or build up material that could be regarded as a hazard. Fire exit doors should be freely opening and unobstructed at all times. Any failings then a picture with details must be provided.

The fire alarm sounder test is carried out every Sunday at 10am and should be acknowledged by the duty manager

  • Fire alarm sounder test completed with no issues?

Once completed ensure that this is emailed to the Full Time Duty Managers - General Manager - Assistant General Manager - Senior Facilities Manager. If an area that has been flagged as unsafe that relates to another department manager then they should also receive a copy.
