Men's and Ladies wet areas

  • Shower areas safe clean and presentable and showers flushed through from the previous night clean?

  • Toilets checked for safety and cleanliness?

  • Sauna & Steam rooms checked for safety and cleanliness and general condition and safe to turn on?

  • Weighing scales in good working order?

  • Check sufficient levels of wet area amenities?

  • Check all wet areas for general safety such as slips and trips ensuring suitable signage is in place?

  • Check all areas are in a safe presentable condition and raise any maintenance issues to the Facilities Department.

Men's and Ladies dry areas

  • Check all dry areas for safety such as slips and trips?

  • Check sufficient levels of amenities are in place?

  • Check phone chargers are working (men's private lockers)

  • Weighing scales in good working order?

  • Hair dryers and straighteners in good working order and safe to use?

  • Clothes irons and ironing boards in good working order and safe to use?

  • Check sufficient levels of towels are on the shelves.

  • Check all areas are in safe a safe presentable condition and raise any maintenance issues to the Facilities Department.

Premier Plus lounge areas Men's and Ladies

  • Check all dry areas for safety such as slips and trips?

  • Check sufficient levels of amenities are in place?

  • Check sufficient levels of robes and towels are in place.

  • Check the hot drinks machines are operational with sufficient stock and safe to use?

  • Check phone chargers are working.

  • Weighing scales in good working order?

  • Hair dryers and straighteners in good working order and safe to use?

  • Clothes irons and ironing boards in good working order and safe to use?

  • Check all areas are in a safe presentable condition and raise any maintenance issues to the Facilities Department.

Pool area and sun deck area leading to changing rooms

  • Check that the pool dolphin was placed in from the night before and is safe to remove?

  • Check pool area for safety such as slips and trips and ensure relevant signs are out ready?

  • Check poolside changing facility is in a safe presentable condition and ready to use?

  • Check the morning pool test has been completed and the the pool is safe to use prior to opening?

  • Check that the sun deck area is in a safe condition with no signs of slip or trip hazards

  • Check all areas are in a safe presentable condition and raise any maintenance issues to the Facilities Department.

Kitchen area Ensure that the kitchen team are aware that you are carrying out your routine checks during the week. On weekends and when the kitchen is closed you should be particularly careful when in and around the kitchen area.

  • Check generally that the kitchen area is in a safe condition with no signs of possible slips or trips?

  • Check fridges are not in alarm, any concerns need to be flagged early with the Head Chef.

  • Check all visible flat areas are clean from the night before with no evidence of food debris that could cause a pest hazard?

  • Check oven top areas are clean from the night before with no evidence of food debris that could cause a pest hazard?

  • Check bins have been emptied and lids closed.

  • Check there is no evidence of pests such as flies, rodents or beetles?

  • Area in a safe condition?

Pre-opening operational preperation

  • Floor walk levels 0 - 1 - 2 checking for good presentable condition and safety.

  • Check defibrillator is operational and with the correct contents (in date) ready for use.

  • Switch on music system and check the set levels.

  • Prepare department radios and record how many are present.

  • Radios present at Concierge.

  • Prepare department keys.

Open club and complete final checks

  • Complete detailed fire exit checklist (separate audit)

  • Check lobby area toilets are safe clean and presentable with sufficient stock levels of amenities and toilet rolls.

  • Check fitness area toilets are safe clean and presentable with sufficient stock levels of amenities and toilet rolls.

  • Checking staffing levels are as per the mornings rota.

  • Check and sign out department cash floats.

Sign as completed and email a copy to - General Manager - AGM - FTDM's - Facilities Department.
