Does the operator have all the mandatory PPE and wearing the site specific colours orange/yellow with Thomas or associated company logos?

Does the operator require any additional PPE?

Have the operator’s competency cards been checked and verified via card checker? In date and valid for the specific machine being operated?

Is the operator familiar with the controls and functions of the machine being operated?

Does the operator understand how to operate the quick hitch on the specific machine where applicable?

Does the operator require any familiarisation training on the machine or quick hitch? (If so refer to familiarisation training operator log)

Does the operator require any GPS familiarisation including Topcon, Leica, Trimble?

Have they been briefed on the GPS kit specifics? (if Yes refer to GPS familiarisation)

Does the operator understand the operator duties and specific task set out by the customer?

Has the operator been inducted for the site and briefed on any site specific hazards where applicable?

Has the operator been briefed on the TPH machine breakdown reporting procedure including TP numbers? Service number 01352 721216 option 3

Has the operator been given TPH useful numbers including Head Office, Service department, Operator support and Payroll?

Does the operator understand how to complete the TPH timesheet and briefed on signing?

Does the operator have any questions? If so have they been answered and is the operator happy and understanding of those answers given?

Has the operator been given TPH toolbox talk where applicable?

Is the operator suitable to be operating the specific machine? If not are the operator department aware and has the correct procedure been carried out to notify them?
