  • COMPANY POLICY
The Company, through its own working practices, and those of its subcontractors, will strive to minimise amounts of waste, and where waste is created, will endeavour to re- use it elsewhere, or otherwise recycle it.

  • Energy & Water Efficiency

Many tones of emissions are produced each year through the insufficient use of natural resources such as gas, oil, petrol and diesel; switching off all unnecessary appliances and plant can make a real difference not only to the environment but also to the cost of a project. The water which flows through our taps has been through a thorough cleaning process to make it safe for use. Don’t leave taps running as you are not only wasting water you are wasting energy.

  • There are many small changes which we can make to reduce the waste of natural resources. Minimising the wastage of resources, including water, fuel and electricity not only helps the environment it also saves money.

  • 1. If you know how to recognise unnecessary use and waste, you are in a better position to help reduce it.
    2. Ensure waste is minimised by switching off equipment when it is not in use.
    3. Operate plant efficiently by using the appropriate power and ensure your tools & batteries are PAT tested regularly.
    4. Use local resources, equipment and materials to minimise travel.
    5. Do not leave doors and windows open when heating or air conditioning is switched on as it wastes energy.
    6. Do not leave lights turned on unnecessarily unless for security or safety reasons.
    7. Do not leave plant engines running unnecessarily.
