How to maintain a vacuum cleaner.

Remove and empty dust bag

Ensure hose is connected to clear dome lid with the outlet on the same side as your vacuuming arm.

Loosen the straps
-
Lift the machine with one hand.<br>While sliding the other arm through one of the straps.<br>Then put other arm through the remaining strap.

Let machine settle into 'small' of your back, just above your backside.

Tighten waist straps until secure and comfortable.

Pull down on both remaining ends of the shoulder straps until you feel that almost all the weight of the machine (95%) is being carried by the waistband.

Tighten waist and if necessary.
Operating the vacuum cleaner.

Stand upright with the handgrip section of the wand Parnell to the floor. It should be at a comfortable arms length with one hand on the wand.

Once the end of the lead has been reached and the work completed, return to the power point along the lead line.

Disconnect lead from power point. If work not finished unplug the lead from the power point and then wind from backpack towards end of the lead.<br>If work complete, remove backpack by sliding feet strap off shoulder while raising right arm/shoulder to hold strap in place. <br>Slowly lower right shoulder and lower unit to the floor. (Do not drop)
