DETAILS OF SAFETY MEASURES

  • Fire Sprinkler heads in good condition and not covered

  • Fire sprinkler pipes are pressurized with water if accessible

  • Smoke detectors and Heat detectors in good condition and are not covered

  • LPG installation complied with NFPA 58 and panel is clear

  • Sliding doors are interfaced to main fire alarm control panel and provide fail-safe features

  • Exit back doors unlocked and are clear for proper egress

  • Evacuation Plan displayed and visible

STORAGE AREAS

  • Stacking of materials is no less than 18 in = 45.7 cm away from Ceiling to allow sprinklers to take affect

  • A minimum of 24 in = 61 cm clear width on both sides of storage racks / unobstructed

  • Dedicated storage for dangerous goods (chemicals, combustible liquids, compressed vessels etc.)

MEZZANINE STAIRCASE

  • Mezzanine staircase clear of all material and constructed of steel

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

  • Electrical wirings, outlets and extension cords are listed and capable to withstand electrical loads and meet code

  • Electrical panels and rooms are clear of combustibles, flammables and materials and in good condition

GENERAL SAFETY

  • Ceiling/false ceiling in good condition

  • Flooring free from potential slip/trip/fall hazards

  • Potential hazards due to water leakage from any utilities/ceiling
