01. Foundation

  • Check for damages TP / Foundation

  • Inspect latch way and yoyo.

02. Tower Base - Description of inspection area/component

  • Visually check inside ground controllers for dirt/dust, door latches and hinges

  • Check function of dehumidifier

  • Visually inspect fire extinguisher and first aid kit.

  • Check cables for damage, zip ties and proper routing into controllers and cabinets.

  • Visually inspect service lift

  • Check generator if present.

  • Grounding on base tower/TP

  • Flange bolts torque marked and torque date written, washers/nuts mounted correct.

  • Check routing of HV cable in tower base

  • Check tower for paint damage inside

  • Check wires on service lift in tower base.

  • Visually inspect Avanti rail system

  • Check general cable work

  • Visually check for overall cleanliness

03. Yaw - Description of inspection area/component

  • Visually check for cleanliness in and around yaw.

  • Check cable work, communication and earthling cables, wear and tear.

  • Check power cables wear and tear.

  • Check oil level on yaw gears.

  • Visually check yaw gears for damage

  • Check auto lubrication for yaw

  • Check that the yaw top is lubricated on slide surface and on teeth

  • Listen for abnormal noise when the nacelle yaw CW and CCW

  • Inspect cable work and routing.

  • Check ladder is free of damages and for lose bolts.

  • Check platform attachment and signs of vibration

  • Other issues yaw

04. Nacelle - Description of inspection area/component

  • Check rotor lock hydraulics for oil level and operation.

  • Check controller cabinets and cabling left side nacelle.

  • Check cooling water level.

  • Check cooling water pumps and hoses for leaks, left side nacelle.

  • MSI cabinet for cables and cooling hoses for damage/leaks etc. Back end nacelle.

  • Check lubrication oil tank, oil level.

  • Check leaks around lubrication oil tank.

  • Check leaks around lubrication oil tank.

  • Visually check for leaks around hydraulic station.

  • Check for correct Hydraulic oil level, hydraulic station.

  • Check controller cabinet and cabeling right side nacelle.

  • Check gear box for correct oil level.

  • Check hoses and pipes for leaks, right side drive train.

  • Operation and condition of main hatches and hatch seals hydraulic rams, hoses etc

  • Other issues right side drive train.

  • Check wire, cable work and hoses on crane

  • Check for leaks, back end of the generator

  • Check cable work back end of the generator.

  • Check slip ring/ rotating union, hoses and cable work..

  • MSI cabinet for cables and cooling hoses for damage/leaks etc.

  • Check that the internal crane and hook is proper secured.

  • Other issues back end drivetrain.

  • Check hoses and pipes for leaks, left side drivetrain

  • Visually inspect first aid kit.

  • Visually inspect fire extinguisher

  • Visually inspect rescue kit if present.

  • Other issues left side drive train.

  • Operation and condition of all access hatches and hatch seals.

  • Visually check for nacelle top-level cleanliness.

  • Check lubrication oil pumps for operation. ( Gear, Main bearing and Generator)

  • Check cooling water pumps for operation

  • Check hydraulic pumps for operation.

  • If present, turn "off- line" filter motor on and check that it is operating

  • Check operation of cooling / heating fans.

  • With the controller set to auto yaw, bring the generator to 1000rpm and listen for abnormal noise from bearings and gearbox transmission.

05. Nacelle Basement - Description of inspection area/component

  • Check for main bearing for leaks.

  • Inspect yaw / yaw claws.

  • Check cable work right side nacelle basement under controller cabinet

  • Check cable work back end nacelle basement

  • Check for leaks under generator..

  • Check for leaks under gear box..

  • MSI cabinet for cables and cooling hoses for damage/leaks etc

  • Check hose and pipe connections in nacelle basement.

  • Check magnets and swarf sensors in gearbox for debris

  • Check cable work left side nacelle basemen

  • Inspect hoses for wear and tear.

  • Other issues in nacelle basement.

06. Hub - Description of inspection area/component

  • Check Lightning Current Transfer Unit (LCTU)

  • Check for damage on nose cone support. Spinner area.

  • Check blade collars for damage

  • Check anchor points.

  • Check entrance hatches and handles, hinges and hinge retaining clips are present

  • Spinner Escape hatches are secured and operational.

  • Visually inspect hub controller and confirm that modules and connectors are security tightened.

  • Check cable work in hub for prober routing and wear.

  • Check function of light in hub

  • Check for hydraulic leaks

  • Check that accumulators are properly secured including protection caps.

  • Check accumulator pressure in Hub.

  • Check pitch cylinders for leaks and that they are securely tightened

  • Check inside the blades the lightning card/conductor. and cable work.

  • Check blade bearing seals for leaks

  • Blade bearing bolts for rust and torque marks etc.

  • Check hydraulic hoses in hub for proper routing and wear

  • Check auto lubrication for blade bearings

  • Visual check the hub for overall cleanliness

  • Other issues hub

07. Nacelle external - Description of inspection area/component

  • Check cooler for damages and rust

  • Check hoses and pipe connections on cooler

  • Check Anchor points.

  • Check fiber glass for cracks.

  • Visual check nacelle hatches and hub/blades from platform.

  • Check operation of Wind sensors and anometer.

  • Other issues Nacelle external.

08. Top Tower - Description of inspection area/component

  • Check tower damper visually at both platforms, turnbuckles are tight.

  • Spot Check Visually if there are any loose bolts on ladders and landings

  • Ladder is free of damage.

  • Cable work up tower is neat, secured, and is free of damage.

  • Visually check platforms all levels, attachment/turnbuckles and signs of vibration

  • Check anchor points.

  • Check service lift wire attachment.

  • No damage to Lift access gates and is fully operational

  • Cable work, snowflakes not slipped down and in center of barrel.

  • Check cable loop.

  • Check grounding between platforms and tower.

  • Tower sections are grounded together, bolts are torque marked.

  • Flange bolts torque marked and torque date written, washers installed correctly.

  • Corrosion protection bolts

  • Cable routing power cables.

  • Check cable work at flange level.

  • Visual check for overall cleanliness

09. Middle Tower - Description of inspection area/component

  • Spot Check Visually if there are any loose bolts on ladders and landings

  • Ladder is free of damage.

  • Cable work up tower is neat, secured, and is free of damage.

  • Visually check platform, attachment/turnbuckles and signs of vibrations.

  • Check anchor points.

  • Check grounding between platform and tower.

  • Tower sections are grounded together, bolts are torque marked.

  • Flange bolts torque marked and torque date written, washers installed correctly.

  • Corrosion protection of bolts.

  • Cable routing power cables.

  • Check cable work at flange level..

  • Visual check for overall cleanliness

10. PCM 4 Level. - Description of inspection area/component

  • Visually, check sealing survival kit.

  • Visually, check crane and for operation.

  • Visually, check conditioning unit.

  • Check grounding on PCM level 4.
