Safety

  • No smoking sticker, smoke alarm sticker and condition of entry sticker installed

Linen and Supplies

  • Bed well made with fresh towels and bathmat supplied

  • Towels and linen is in good condition and not worn/threadbare

  • Check mattress, mattress protector and doona. no stains

  • Soap and toilet paper supplied - excess supplies removed

Cleaning General

  • Bedroom floor cleaned including under bed, nooks and under desk

  • Air conditioner filter and surrounds cleaned

  • Light switches are clean.

  • Wipe/dust all bench tops and furniture including desks, wardrobes and top of smoke detector..

  • Ensure TV is clean and dust free front and back

  • Inside of wardrobes and drawers cleaned if empty.

  • Wipe exterior of fridge including on top of fridge

  • Fridge cleaned inside including seals and defrost freezer if required

  • Empty rubbish bin and replace liner.

  • Remove all marks on internal walls and ceilings.

  • All personal items have been removed from room

  • Remove cobwebs from all internal areas paying attention to behind doors, ceiling corners etc.

  • Room clean sign off sheet has been completed and is in good condition. Customer comments card has been left for resident.

Cleaning Bathroom

  • Hand basins and surrounds are disinfected, wiped clean and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness in a stain free and polished condition

  • Bathroom cabinet cleaned inside

  • Ensure shower curtain is of sufficent lengh

  • Toilet clean including S bend and seat.

  • Ensure toilet brush holder is in place and in good condition

  • Shower recess cleaned with disinfectants and wiped dry ensuring all stains are removed and the surfaces are finished to a polished condition and all excess cleaning agent removed

  • Shower walls and tiles are washed and cleaned with all mould removed from grouting and silicone sealer.

  • Shower taps, fittings and soap holders are washed and cleaned and the surfaces are finished to a polished condition

Room External

  • Sweep verandas and pathways or hosed as required including removal of stones and rubbish between path and building walls

  • Cob webbing of external walls

  • External windows are cleaned on a regular basis

  • Internal/External front door and flyscreen wiped clean

Fittings / Furnishings/Maintenance

  • Chairs, draws, and cupboards are in working order

  • Lights all working and covers in place. Light covers that require cleaning are reported

  • All fixtures are in good condition, towel rail, toilet roll holder, toilet seat not broken or loose.

  • Extractor fan working and free of dust

  • Doors swing freely, doors open easily and door handles work well. Screen door is fitted

  • TV remote available and A/C remote located and set at 22 C
