  • All workers, including casual and seasonal have completed an induction

  • Contractor will identify specific hazards in the workplace

  • Contractor will do a risk assessment of hazards

  • Contractor is competent in managing risks, eg electrical, chemical, fire, machinery, heights, confined spaces

  • Contractor will take reasonable care of the health and safety of themselves and others

  • Contractor will bring and use appropriate PPE and safety gear

  • Contractor has informed others of when and where they will be working if working alone

  • Contractor will report and unsafe conditions or equipment

  • Contractor will not work under the influence of drugs or alcohol

  • Workers are competent to carry out the tasks allocated

  • Workers understand the need to report hazards, near misses and injuries

  • Contractor will work with safety in mind at all times

  • Duties of you as a worker<br> While at work, a worker must —<br> (a) take reasonable care for the worker’s own health and safety; and<br> (b) take reasonable care that the worker’s acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of other persons; and<br> (c) comply, so far as the worker is reasonably able, with any reasonable instruction that is given by the person conducting the business or undertaking to allow the person to comply with this Act; and<br> (d) cooperate with any reasonable policy or procedure of the person conducting the business or undertaking relating to health or safety at the workplace that has been notified to workers.<br>
