Purpose of this inspection procedure for various types of water storage tanks is to ensure effective and efficient sampling of the water samples as per SJ standard procedure in reference to DM-FSD-GU17 “Water system monitoring and inspection guideline in Dubai”. This procedure classifies steps to be taken onsite, after obtaining work order and agreement signed from customer. this is the execution of water tank inspection and subcontracting (EIAC) accredited lab for water samples collection and testing.

- Change the location of the tank, it should be at least10m away from the sewage water pipeline.
- Distribution/outlet water slots should be more than 10 cm above from the bottom of the tank.
- The distance between the top surface of the tank and the water should be at least 30 cm.

- Replace the tank or rectify the rusting immediately within 7 days
