1. Is the number plate clearly visible?

2. Are the windshields clean and undamaged?

3. Are all mirrors clean and undamaged?

4. Are all the tyres in good condition with +2mm tread and tyre pressure OK?

5. Is there any damage to the vehicle?

Under the Hood

6. Is the oil level Showing full?

7. Is the windshield water reservoir level full?

8. Is the radiator coolant full (Do not open radiator if hot)

9. Can you see the brake/clutch/power steering fluid level and is it on the full marker at the side of the bottle?

Light Vehicle Electrics

10. Does the horn work?

11. Are all the console gauges working correctly?

12. Are the headlights, Foglights and rear tail lights all working correctly?

13. Do the left hand and right hand indicator lights work correctly?

14. Is the beacon lamp available and operational when plugged into the cigarette lighter socket?

General Safety Equipment

15. Are seat belts in the light vehicle all fully operational?

16. Is there a first aid kit/Snakebite kit in the vehicle and is it fully stocked?

17. Is there a fire extinguisher and is it full?

19. Is the jack and wheel brace in the vehicle?
