Pre-Operational Check

  • Are there enough hairnets and beard nets in the Changing Room?

  • Are all PPEs (overalls & gumboots) correctly stored? Everything should be in the right cubicle.

  • Are there enough hand soap, hand sanitiser and paper towels in the dispensers?

  • Is all the empty Vat clean and free from foreign matter?

  • Is all the working bench clean and free from foreign matter?

  • Are waste bins clean and accessible?

  • No product/packaging material directly on the floor?

  • Free from any insects (e.g., fruit flies, midges, mosquitos, flies)?

  • If there are any, spray the insecticides and rinse off with water. Make sure there are no ingredients & products. If you need to spray those areas, you need to take those out and bring them back once rinsed.

  • Free from broken or damaged glass or hard brittle plastics?

  • Are all the Hoses hanging up and off the floor?

  • Is the Touch Screen for REQN working?

  • Any other comments or observations?

Scale Calibration

  • Check the scale number and use the correct test weight for the calibration.

  • Procedure: 1) Turn scale on. 2) Put test weight on the scale. 3)Let measurement stabilise. 4) Measurement should be within the range.

  • If the weight is out of the acceptable range, please escalate to QA.

  • FLOOR SCALE: Scale Gladiator Series GGL - AEAG812. Confirm if the weight is between 9.99 and 10.01. (Use 10KG test weight, TOLERANCE +-10g)

  • BENCH SCALE: Scale Digi DS - 166SS. 18621565. Confirm if the weight is between 4.999 and 5.001. (Use 5KG test weight, TOLERANCE +-1g)
