Walk towards L10 paletiser

  • Is the floor area in good condition? Uncluttered, paint not flaking, good drainage and walkways clearly marked in yellow?

  • Are all lights working? Is there sufficient light?

  • 2.1 - Is fire extinguiser # 19 accessible, tag in date and easily identified?

  • The pole between the lidder and the printer- Do leads into the 3 power outlets have up to date tags? Are they in a safe workingt condition?

  • Is the emergency exit light above the sliding glass doors illuminated?

Now walk around palletiser

  • Is the walkway around the palletiser clear and marked in yellow?

  • Are the steps and platform at the palletiser in a safe condition to use?

  • Are the e-stops easily accessed and identified?

  • Is the floor area in good condition? Uncluttered, paint not flaking, good drainage and walkways clearly marked in yellow?

Now walk to lidder and box maker

  • Are e-stops and guard interlocks accessible, clearly identified and working? (Ask operator)

  • Is 5s being practised in the area?

  • Are there any pinch points on conveyors that are a hazard for the operator?

  • Are the arms that hold the cardboard on the lidder and box maker clearly marked in yellow and covered in foam?

Now walk to area between work station and filler room wall

  • Is the work station ergonomically safe? (Chair and table in good condition)

  • Are there any pinch points on conveyors that are a hazard for the operator?

  • Are e-stops and guard interlocks accessible, clearly identified and working? (Ask operator)

  • Are the steps over the conveyor safe to use? (Check treads and rails)

  • Is the floor area in good condition? Uncluttered, paint not flaking, good drainage and walkways clearly marked in yellow?

  • Is fire extinguiser # 21 accessible, tag in date and easily identified?

  • Are the power leads on the printer and sleever tagged and in a safe condition?

Now enter the fill room of Line 10 Hassia. Start at the window and walk around to the non operator side of the machine.

  • Is the floor area in good condition? Uncluttered, paint not flaking, good drainage and walkways clearly marked in yellow?

  • Are e-stops and guard interlocks accessible, clearly identified and working? (Ask operator)

  • Is the emergency light above door illuminated?

  • Is the cleaning hose stored correctly?

  • Is the lead to the power point tagged and in a safe condition?

  • Is the work station ergonomically safe? (Chair and table in good condition)

  • Are the power leads on scales tagged and in a safe condition?

  • Are the small steps in a safe condition?

  • Are both entries and walkways kept clear?

  • Are the electrical cabinets locked?

  • Are all lights working? Is there sufficient light?

  • Does the chemical station have the correct SDS attached.

  • Does the ink trolley have the correct SDS attached for the inks and solvents being used?

  • Is the 2nd work station ergonomically safe? (Chair and table in good condition)
