CAB ITEMS & SAFETY CHECKS

  • Check condition and operation of seat belts

  • Check driver seat functions

  • Check windscreens, side mirrors and mirrors

  • Check wipers and washers

  • Check all gauges and repair as necessary

  • Check and confirm speed limiter accuracy

  • Check function of park brake/door alarm system

  • Check reverse buzzer operation

  • Check A/C and heater operation

  • Check cabin mounts and suspension

Road Essential Lights

  • Check all lights and repair as necessary

Electrical

  • Check and clean battery terminals of corrosion

  • Check battery level

  • Check vehicle earth straps and connections

Fuel Supply & Return Hoses

  • Check over fuel system

  • Inspect tank isolators

  • Check tank bracket torque

Engine / Fuel System

  • Check for any oil leaks

  • Check over fuel system

  • Check and or replace air cleaner elements

  • Inspect engine mounts and hoses

  • Check radiator mount rubbers and stay bars

  • Check coolant level, inspect for leaks and damage

  • Pressure test cooling system

  • Test coolant, adjust if required and record results

  • Inspect all belts, adjust and replace if required

  • Check over exhaust, wiring looms

  • Change engine oil

  • Change engine oil filters and date filters

  • Change fuel filters

  • Change water filter (if required)

  • Clean air flow sensor (Cummins engines only)

Steering

  • Check for steering oil leaks

  • Check steering oil levels

  • Check steering free play and all components

  • Change steering filter

Ground Level Items

  • Carry out visual inspection of vehicle and report

Chassis

  • Check chassis and tighten bolts

  • Grease chassis and turntable

  • Replace any nipples not taking grease

  • Inspect all universal joints

  • Check king pins for wear

Suspension

  • Inspect shock absorber mounts

  • Check air suspension for ride height

  • Drain air tanks for moisture

Transmission / Clutch

  • Check for any transmission oil leaks and clean breathers

  • Inspect transmission for movement in rear bearing

  • Change transmission oil

  • Replace transmission oil filter

  • Take transmission oil sample if required

  • Check and adjust clutch

Differentials

  • Change differential oils and report on metal on plugs

  • Take differential oil samples if required

  • Inspect for leaks and clean breathers

  • Check for free play in input and output bearings

Brakes

  • Change oil in front hubs

  • Check front wheel bearing adjustment (remove outer bearing and check)

  • Adjust all brakes and check for air leaks

  • Check brake lining thickness and record
  • Brake Position

  • Check for movement in wheel bearings

Vehicle Test

  • Carry out shaker and brake test

  • Road test vehicle

  • COMPLETE SERVICE STICKER AND ATTACH TO WIDSCREEN
