1. Security Officer Assessment

  • 1.1- Is the officer in full uniform presenting a smart and professional image at all times

  • 1.2 - Is the officers time keeping and attendance of an acceptable standard

  • 1.3 - Does the officer have a good, 'Yes can do' type attitude and approach to the role - detail any issues or concerns raised with the officers attitude

  • 1.4 - Does the officer demonstrate good interaction and communication skills- colleagues, centre management, tenants, emergency services, the public etc

  • 1.5 - Is the officers performance to the required standard - any issues or concerns raised concerning their performance

  • 1.6 - Has the officer been fully site trained

  • 1.7- Is the officer fully aware of the centres emergency plans - fire, bomb threats, flooding etc

  • 1.8 - Is the officers paperwork / IRF's etc competed to a good standard

2. Complete a patrol with the officer and assess the following

  • 2.1 - Was the patrol completed as per the Assignment Instructions (record the patrol details below)<br>

  • 2.2 - Was the officers route / site knowledge of a good standard

  • 2.3 - Was the officer observant throughout the patrol

  • 2.4 - Was the appropriate documentation completed for the patrol and completed to the required standard

  • 2.5 - Overall, was the patrol completed to the required standard

3. Assignment Instructions - select two sections of the AI's and test the officers understanding, record the section and response below

  • 3.1 - Test one - Was the response of the required standard

  • 3.2 - Test two - was the response of the required standard

4. Scenario Testing - give the officer two scenarios and assess the response given. Please record details of both the scenario and response below
