    An observation should be carried out by a manager / Supervisor and for a min 1 hr period in order to evidence practical understanding of the main duties of the role, the following of procedures and the implementation of control measures. PLEASE CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE WHEN CARRYING OUT THE OBSERVATION

  • 3. Setting up negitive pressure units?

  • 4. Smoke testing of enclosure?

  • 5. Daily RPE inspections?

  • 6. Changing of vacuum bag?

  • 7. Controlled mist spraying?

  • 8. Shadow vacuuming?

  • 9. Multi-point injection?

  • 10. Wrap & Cut?

  • 11. Removal techniques?

  • 12. Bagging of waste?

  • 13. Waste removal from the enclosure?

  • 14. Fine cleaning of enclosure?

  • 15. Correct transit route?

  • 16. Correct decontamination procedures?

  • 17. Housekeeping (in and out of the enclsoure)?

  • 18. General awareness of site H&S?

  • 19. General attitude to carrying out site instructions?

  • 20. Overal performance?

  • Attach photos of the POW (minimum) and any photos or media evidencing the observation visit.
