8.0 HAULING EQUIPMENT -- SECTION 409.3(d) Hauling equipment clean and in good working condition.

12.0 PATTERN SEGREGATION -- SECTION 409.3(h)3 Suspected pattern segregation properly identified and evaluated.

Contractor notified of suspected segregation.

Severity of the segregated areas evaluated in accordance with PTM 751.

Corrective action taken if the average difference in pavement texture depth exceeds 0.61mm (0.024 in).

Paving operations suspended whenever pattern segregation has been determined through PTM 751.

Affected areas removed and replaced.

Test section of 180 tonne (200 tons) placed and evaluated prior to resuming normal paving.
