General

Admissions

  • Admissions greeters are in place and greeting Guests, putting on wristbands, and answering Guest questions.

  • Admissions crewmembers are in full grooming guidelines.

  • Hours of operation are posted and correct.

  • Rides down more than 15 minutes are posted.

  • Admissions cashiers are using counterfeit pens/lights and checking all bills $10 and higher.

  • Cashiers use a swipe card to log in to their terminal. Card is kept on their person at all times.

Security

  • All security ambassadors are in full grooming standards including visible Texas Department of Public Safety identification card and security badge.

  • Security is present at the entrance greeting Guests, checking wristbands, and scanning for code of conduct violations.

  • Security is patrolling the property and correcting code of conduct violations as required.

  • Security ambassadors are engaging Guests and answering questions.

Rides

  • All ride operators are in full grooming standards including visible Certification Card with appropriate rides punched.

  • Ride areas, including danger zones, are clean and free of obstructions or trip hazards.

  • Ride restricted areas and danger zones are properly secured with appropriate locks. Fencing/barriers are in good condition and meet ASTM standards. Appropriate warning signage is posted.

  • Ride operators are enforcing all rider policies, including height/weight requirement, loose articles, and wristbands/tickets.

  • Ride operators are engaging Guests (high-fives, spieling during cycle, assisting Guests as they enter/exit the ride).

  • Ride operators are completing 5-second visual scans before each cycle and watching the ride at all times during operation.

  • Ride operators are displaying clear hand signals as required. Minimum: all clear before cycle start and at cycle end.

  • Control booth areas are clean and free of debris. Water coolers are present and filled.

  • Ride SOPs are available and in good condition at each ride.

Games

  • All games crewmembers are in full grooming guidelines.

  • All games are appropriately flashed and understock is at appropriate level for business volume.

  • Games crewmembers are engaging Guests and upselling other games. Game area(s) is/are energized and enticing to Guests.

  • Games crewmembers are dropping each and every transaction and are only using their till to make change.

  • Games crewmembers are checking all bills $20 and higher with a counterfeit pen or light.

  • Games crewmembers do not share tills (one till per game). Crewmembers going on break are replaced by a crewmember with their own till.

Grounds

  • All grounds crewmembers are in full grooming guidelines.

  • All restrooms are clean and stocked. Checks are completed at least once every 30 minutes.

  • Midways are clean and dry.

  • Wet floor signs are placed near any standing water. Spills are cleaned up in a timely manner.

  • No gum is present on midways, buildings or ride lines.

Food & Beverage/Concessions

  • All F&B crewmembers are in full grooming guidelines including hats/hair nets.

  • All F&B crewmembers handling food are wearing disposable gloves. Gloves are in good condition, free from cuts, and changed regularly.

  • F&B crewmembers are wearing cutting gloves any time a knife is used.

  • Cashiers are checking all bills $20 and higher with a counterfeit pen/light.

  • Cashiers use a swipe card to log in to their terminal. Card is kept on their person at all times.

  • Windows displays are clean, in good condition, and visually appealing. Signage is in good condition.

  • Inventory levels are appropriate to business level/PARs.

  • Cashiers are not sharing tills or swipe cards.

  • Opening/mid/closing stand checklists are complete and signed by a supervisor/manager.

  • Line checks have been conducted a minimum one time per shift.

Retail

  • All retail crewmembers are in full grooming guidelines.

  • Retail stores are clean, inviting, and well-stocked.

  • Cashiers use a swipe card to log in to their terminal. Card is kept on their person at all times.

  • Crewmembers are using the "GABC" technique to build sales.

  • Cashiers are checking all bills $20 and higher with a counterfeit pen/light.

Maintenance & Facilities

  • Painted areas are in good condition with no chipping, fading, overspray, etc.

  • Landscaping is in good condition, mulched, and plants/trees are trimmed appropriately.

  • Midways are in good condition, free of cracks and trip hazards, and clean.

  • Patios are in good condition, clean, and seating is in good condition.

  • All lighting (street lights, building interiors/exteriors, and rides) is in good condition and all fixtures are working. Lighting is turned on at appropriate time.

  • Restrooms are in working order.

  • Mechanic shop and warehouse are clean. Equipment is in good condition.

  • All restricted areas are secured when not in use and appropriate signage is displayed.

  • Lockout/tagout program is in place and being followed by all maintenance and facility crewmembers. Any machine being serviced is locked out according to company policy and OSHA standards.
