Background

The drivers course is designed to provide coaching and mentoring to the students, in order to develop the skills and attributes required for an Operational Ambulance Driver.
The course placed students in a range of situations to allow for exposure and formative assessment in rural, urban, metro and congested areas.
The student then completes a summative assessment in the last phase of the course to ADA standard.
The final result is a combination of the formative and summative process and draws on the professional judgement of the Instructor.
