There emergency evacuation is an high pitched audible alarm throughout the club.
Upon hearing the alarm you must leave the building by the nearest fire exit.
If you are part of a team or instructing a class then you must advise fellow team members or class participants to do the same.
No one should stay behind to collect belongings or put themselves in a position of further risk.
Do not put yourself in a position of further risk if you are having to debate the reason for leaving the building or carrying out an investigation - leave by the nearest fire exit.
Evacuation assembly point

The assembly point is located at the North wing of Guildhall and the fire warden will direct team members there.
The landlord Savills will communicate to the fire wardens on the status of the alarm and advise on further action.
Returning to the club

Savills will inform the fire marshals as to when it is safe to return to the club.
Ensure that you assist where needed and again remember that you are representing the club.
The fire marshals will coordinate the return to the club.
Important points for all team members

Fire escape routes are checked daily and should be clear at all times, if you come across a blocked fire exit or have any concerns then you should raise this immediately with a manager.

All team members are are welcome to complete a fire Marshall course, please see the general manager to discuss.
