Brickwork Inspection

  • Bricks are delivered as per the Colour Selections selection?

  • Joint type and colour as per the Colour Selections?

  • BAL Requirements on job have been met?

  • Check job for render – weeps to be installed 8mm out in rendered sections?

  • Saline effected area – 1:4 Cement/Sand mix below DPC (provide photos to Site Manager via email of any Salinity Requirements being completed)?

  • Brickwork must not overhang concrete slab by more than 15mm?

  • Expansion joints placed as per Engineer Plans?<br>NOTE: if moved, no more than 6m apart and within 4.5m of all corners but no closer than 470mm. If straight walls with openings greater than 900mm x 900mm, no more than 5m apart and within 1.2m of openings

  • Expansion joints to be no bigger the 10mm wide?

  • 10mm consistent Bed & Perp joints to suit gauge +/- 1mm?

  • Bows in brickwork no more than 5mm?

  • Deviation in brickwork plumb level no more than 10mm across single storey / 18mm across double storey?
