Do pipes located in attics, crawl spaces or basements have enough insulation to keep them from freezing?

Do all of ares of the building stay above 55 degrees in the winter months?

Is someone designated to check for frozen or busted pipes in buildings/units during extremely cold months? If so, do they run water through vacant units to keep water moving through the pipes?

Are there any smart sensors on in the building to alert you of any water leaks?

Are there any burst resistant supply lines with auto shutoffs on the appliances?

Are toilets inspect frequently to ensure they are working properly?

Are the HVAC drain lines cleaned and inspected regularly to prevent back ups and flooding?

Is there an emergency response plan in place if there is a defect with the fire suppression equipment and or risers?

Are the exterior drains/drown spouts free of debris? Are they checked weekly for debris?

Do all the doors secure properly at the base of the door?

Are there any cracks in the walls or floors of the building that water could penetrate?

Do the window wells have secure covers with no cracks or holes?

Is there a sump pump and if so is it checked frequently?

Is there a backup power supply for the sump pump?

Do you have a portable suction pump and hose in case of an emergency?

Does the ground slope away from building? If not consider installing a barrier or diking?

Has a water damage risk assessment been completed on any areas that are high value or critical infrastructure?

Are electrical panels, elevator control panels, boilers and ect. at risk from potneial water damage?

If there is potential danger near main panels can the water lines be re-routed?

If there any water lines can not be re-routed have the lines been tested to ensure their integrity?

Are there alarms in unoccupied critical alerts to alert the staff if there is an issue?

Is there emergency action plan in place for the employees to follow in case of an emergency?
