Pre-operation Checklist

  • Machine(s) serial number

  • Check all welds around the Baler for damage

  • Check visible hydraulic connections and pipes for leaks or damage

  • Check all panel bolts are tight and panels are in place

  • Check for any water and/or oil leakage around the bailer

  • Check feeder is clear

  • Check power lead for any damage

After start-up

  • Check all the safety sensors / interlocks are working as they should

  • Run the baler to ensure the ram moves freely within the machine

  • If any faults are found report to supervisor and put machine out of order

Cleaning

  • Make sure the power is isolated before cleaning commences. Please initial if OK, or mark with an X if unsafe

  • Clean all debris from the lifting arm and inside cage

  • Remove debris from around the baler

Sign-off

  • Baler is good to use?
