OTHERS Over All Condition Assessment Criteria
Condition Rating
1 - Very Good - No defects. No damage or rust.
2 - Good - Minimum rusting on steel rail or wire rope. Visible but maintenance deterioration not affecting structural integrity.
3 - Medium - Up to 20% rail or rope wire has minor damage. Up to 20% post has been moved from its position. Up to 50% rusting on the steel rail. No reflector at all
4 - Poor - No reflector on approach end. Up to 50% steel rail or wire rope damaged. The entire steel rail became rusting. Wooden post became rotted, need to be replaced. More than 50% post has been damaged.
5 - Very Poor - Height less than 300mm. More than 50% rail damaged. Approach end damaged. No reflector on approach end. Critical condition, replacement necessary.
