Floors in work areas must be free of slip and trip hazards.

Tools must be cleaned and properly stored in orderly and easily retrievable manner (ladders on hooks, tools on peg board, etc...).

Parts must be properly stored in locations designated in MainSaver.

Must have the proper type (metal, fixed lid, fire arrest, etc...) garbage can for work area and it must be emptied regularly.

All guards must be in place unless equipment is being repaired.

Equipment in the area must be free of unnecessary oil, grease or other fluids leaking from it.

All doors must unobstructed with working hardware and a clear exterior landing. Any windows are reasonably clean and ledges free of debris.

Stairways must clear of debris and clearly lit.

Hazardous materials must be stored properly with adequate signage and secondary containment.

Lighting is maintained and is clean providing adequate light.
