Asbestos Operations

  • Work site is free of asbestos exposure dangers

  • Are warning signs posted warning of asbestos?

Confined Spaces

  • Are student prohibited from to entering confined spaces?

  • Are confined spaces identified and labeled?

Respiratory Protection

  • Work area is free activities which could expose students to airborne contaminates that meet or exceed P.E.Ls or action levels for known respiratory hazards?

  • Students are prohibited from performing activities which could disturb asbestos or lead particles as a result of renovations or repairs?

Hearing Conservation

  • Are hazardous noise area posted with warning signs

  • Is hearing protection offered at no cost to personnel, appropriate for the task, and provide proper noise attenuation ?

Floor and walking surfaces

  • Work site is free of slips, trips, or falls concerns?

  • Top rails , mid rails, and toe guards in place and of adequate construction to withstand 200 lbs minimum?

Ladders and scaffolding

  • All ladders are in safe condition, properly used, and properly stored.

  • Is scaffolding properly erected and inspected by competent person?

Working Conditions

  • Work site provides a sanitary and healthful for students to work
